Got Bloodflow? Preoperative Evaluation of the Radial Forearm Free Flap
Modified Allen’s Test and Doppler Sounding
The Modified Allen’s test is used before surgery to assess forearm vascular flow in anticipation of harvesting a radial forearm free flap (RFF) for use in FTM phalloplasty. Good circulation is required in both arteries to supply blood to the hand (ulnar) and penis (radial.)
The Modified Allen’s test, often used in conjunction with Doppler ultrasound, assesses blood flow to the hand via the ulnar and radial arteries and the superficial palmar arch.
While not common, there are some cases where a negative Allen test and circulatory impairment forced surgeons to use an alternate phalloplasty method, such as ALT (thigh flap) phalloplasty.

Pictures under the cut
Snipped because of extremely offensive text about metoidioplasty and phalloplasty. Can easily trigger dysphoria!
But they do look like an ordinary penis. Phalloplasty, once completely finished, resemble ‘real’ ones a lot. Even more so if you decide to go for tattooing for veins etc.. Most pictures people base their opinion on are stage 1 phallos, which are obviously unfinished and haven’t even been shaped yet. Did you know they did make a lot of progress in the past few years? Some surgeons don’t have to do multiple stages anymore (like the hospital in Gent, Belgium)
Metoidioplasty is often small and a bit on the thinner size than regular ones but often do look just like a regular penis. With both surgeries, there is a risk of complications, but there are many who report feeling much more satisfied with their body no matter what. There’s a guy in a Yahoo! phallo group who’s spent nearly two years in and out of the hospital and is still fighting infection and complications, but he doesn’t regret his decision. There are also guys who’ve had zero complications during the whole process.
The complication rate in Gent is down to 25%, a rate which includes minor ones that can occur with any surgery. There is a 5% chance of getting major complications.
Neither of the surgeries give deformed genitals. These people need it, and you mocking and berating them for ‘thinking these look decent’? Disgusting.
Falsescum has already shown themselves to be a disgusting piece of shit multiple times, but this just takes the cake. And they spend so much time talking about how shitty truscum are yet they post something like this?
